Located near Punta Sur, the south end of Isla Mujeres, this secluded rental
getaway consists of two Studio apartments on the second story of a
private home, with a separate entrance. The roomy units are rich in color
and texture and have a very luxurious, yet homey feel. From the large
terrace in front of the guest rooms you can gaze out at the view to Cancun,
while sipping your morning coffee , watching the sunset with a cold
cerveza...or just enjoy an afternoon siesta in the hammock.

The units have a mini-kitchen (small fridge, coffee maker, blender and
toaster) to prepare “a little something” in your room. Each has a king bed,
roomy closet space and a table and chairs to sit and have a bite or your
morning coffee.
The bathroom is spacious, with tiling throughout, and glass blocks in the
shower provide light with privacy. Sumptuous bath towels, linens, and
bedcovers and pillows, as well as deep and rich wall treatments make
these rooms a step above most guest suites. These are great for a single
person or a couple or two just wanting to enjoy the island off the beaten
track.

Down the road is Garrafon de Castilla Beach Club, which, in my opinion,
has some of the best snorkeling on the whole island, with just a 40 peso
admission fee for all day. There are also several nice restaurants in the
area: Almar Lounge, at Casa de Los Suenos; and El Pueblito, a casual
roadside eatery open for breakfast and lunch.
The Caribbean Village of Garrafon at Punta Sur has a cafe with things like
hamburgers, in case you are craving one.
Garrafon Park and the cliffside walking trail, from the lighthouse north for
as far as you feel like walking along the Caribbean oceanfront...... all are
popular attractions in this part of the island.
Unless you like the seclusion, transportation is recommended.
